What we teach

We teach how to build architectural project using Building Information Modeling technology.

Building Information Modelling (BIM) streamlines the design, construction, and lifecycle management of all building environments.

The goal is to create a digital model that provides coordinated, reliable information on the construction project at various stages of its implementation. The two-dimensional technical documentation is replaced by a digital 3D model.

The model shows the digitally rendered physical and functional properties of the object. BIM enables designers to make relevant, quick and informed decisions that enhance the quality of the project. Technology helps to predict the consequences of the decisions in different environments.

The collected data can be compared, analyzed, cleared for collision, and modified. The number of errors is reduced, the analysis time is reduced, and specific elements can be fine-tuned at each stage of the project. The model enables one-stop collaboration in all industries involved in the design process.

Why Choose Us

Building Information Modeling (BIM) covers all industries, in all stages of a construction project.

In the age when access to tools is unlimited, what is the role of the profession of architect? What is the role of an architect who is struggling with ever-updated technology and ever-increasing computing power? Are architects computer scientists, or software experts? Or perhaps, thanks to automation, we may call them architectural creators?

Can the concept of beauty be described by an algorithm? Please note that BIM does not solve design problems; it helps to anticipate difficulties and respond to them. The knowledge of digital tools should help architects remain objective, and remember what makes a good architectural design.

COMMON PROBLEMS

Digital tools require the designer to collect relevant data, in order to make informed decisions. Digitally projected, the project it will emulate the physical and functional properties of the future construction, and the data are collected for the most accurate results.

Comprehensive analysis allows fine-tuning individual elements of the facility: partitions, the structure, fittings, fixtures and finish, at every stage of the project. The collected information can be analysed for suitability and quality. Starting from LOD 100, a BIM model allows exploring the building energy consumption using basic energy analysis tools. The physicochemical properties of the building structure are the result of its intended function. Below are the main factors that affect energy use.

Common sense, which has served us for years, is replaced by powerful calculating machines, and the degree of accuracy and estimation is very high, with negligible errors. Decision making is becoming more and more accurate, with hardly no misjudgement.
